These little buffers are seemingly everywhere. I think someone at the factory got a good deal on a whole pallet load and ran around an Interceptor stating 'one will go here and one here; yep, one here and two over there! Your doors take three, 2 on one side and one on the other. You see, these rubber guys hit your door courtesy light switch so the plunger goes in and cuts the circuit to your interior lights. Clever eh? They also buffer bonnets and boots!
