If ever a decipering, organizing & writing a description could cause a brain cramp, this is it! Ok, under the hatch trim are metal plates with ends cut on an angle & a stud soldered onto it for 'fixing' the trim to the car. These plates must be cut by 'you' to the proper angle to fit 'your' trim and then slid under the under lip of the trim so that the stud will be in the correct position to go into the hole(s) and then secure it with a tiny acorn nut. Maybe filling & re-drilling may keep you with a full head of hair!  These plates have 1/2 inch studs so use them where a short stud is required. Gosh, don't go by RL, LH, Upper, or Lower, check what 'you' need yourself! It's either short studded or long studded and these are the shorties.
