This is is being remade to exact specifications by one of our Chrysler vendors. It has the large round flat bottom as age seems to give many of us, with the curved side wings (again with age) with the correct thread in the center So Keri bought some of these cute little guys!

Now somewhere in December or so of 1974 began the change of fuel caps from the star-shaped one to the cad plated twin ear caps.  The little ears help twist the cap off. I haven't spent a lot of time investigating why the change but the change did happen. 1974 brought about a lot of change ..
