This is the electrical component of the ignition assembly only. Not applicable for the Mk1. See Mk1 Specific section for the keyed ignition switch. Those Mk1s, just have to be different! Beware, an alternative switch is being sold out there and you don't have to use it! We offer the correct switch and until it goes completely obsolete, we will continue with the correct switch! Period! If you switch seems a bit loose in its black plastic holder, you may be missing the #4 set screw. And, if your housing does not have a hole for a set screw, this means you'll be drilling one and installing a set screw.
