This interior lamp was fitted to most Mk2s and all of the Saloons made later. It resides on both sides of the headliner just above the doors. Earlier interior lamps were of Italian manufacture and were a part of the hand grab making up one whole assembly. Don't forget it has its own on/off switch as well as operating by the interior light delay relay in your door.
