INTERCEPTORS FOR SALE
Welcome to K&D Jensen's Interceptors for Sale Page.
Just a couple notes and rules – First, K&D is not charging for this service and is just reposting what people ask us to post. So, we really don’t know which, if any, of the claims are true – that’s up to you! Also, let me know if the car is sold. I plan on keeping the listings posted, marked sold, for everyone’s reference in the future.
To post – please send the text of your ad thru our “Contact Us” Page, we will then contact you for you to email a couple pictures. Please include a location and preferably a price for your car.
Remember, nice shiny new parts will help your car sell for bigger bucks, just saying. . .
Newest postings are on top.
1972 MKIII Interceptor with 10,300 Original Miles. Right Hand Drive
Apparently, someone tried to smuggle drugs into the U.S. in it and it was impounded during what would have been the prime of its life (!).
Right Hand Drive. In great shape. No rust. Lovely interior. And it's YELLOW! It was resprayed yellow years ago (originally Reef Blue) and the exhaust and carb have been replaced (Holley 4160). The exhaust and parts of the tool kit were stolen while in storage. Otherwise, this car is a time capsule. The exhaust has been replaced. See pics of the tool kit and jack. Steering rack and transmission have been rebuilt due to leaks, timing gears replaced with steel, a/c compressor was rebuilt years ago, but a/c does not work, newer tires. Starts right up and runs great. Listed 8/2024
Clean title. Located in Maryland. $39,000 (29,500 GBP) obo.

1974 Jensen Interceptor Project/Parts Car for Sale
Location: San Francisco Bay Area, USA $7000 OBO 6/17/24
Jensen Interceptor project for sale. Silver over cream.
This car is in pieces as it is mid-restoration, circumstances are forcing sale. Almost all the parts come with the car, including many new parts (wiring harness, steering rack, rebuilt transmission), all the glass, etc. Everything is in good condition, some parts have already been reconditioned. All the glass is intact, and the interior is in decent condition, so the body. Some typical rust which needs to be addressed (footwells, battery area, sills, new sills provided). Engine is missing, lost during a rebuild. This originally a California car, spent most of its time in Los Angeles. It was the victim of an engine fire (brake fluid on exhaust).

1974 Interceptor in San Diego 5/09/2024
This is a very nice 1974, excellent, original, Jensen Interceptor with only 74000miles. A few years ago, when I bought it I was told that the car was kept with the same family since new and also, it was stored for a very long time. Then the car was reconditioned and was sold to me. The car is located in the San Diego area and if interested, you are welcome to visit. Here are some more details about the car:
EXTERIOR: excellent condition and I cannot find any flaws. I was told that this was to original paint but I doubt it – probably was resprayed a few years back. Oh, and no rust anywhere.
INTERIOR: very nice and no tears in the upholstery.
MECHANICAL: car runs well, and transmission shifts smoothly. New spark plugs + oil and filter were changed a year ago. Wheels are like new, but tires are probably old. The car is missing an A/C pump and power steering a bit heavy.
ASKING PRICE: $38,000

1973 Jensen Interceptor Mk III For Sale
VEHICLE LOCATION
Ruidoso, New Mexico 88345
MILEAGE 20,489
VIN # 140/8294
EXTERIOR Bronze
INTERIOR Cognac
ENGINE 330HP 440 CHRYSLER V8
CONDITION Excellent
The car was completely redone by a professional restoration shop in the Netherlands. I bought the car in Belgium and had it shipped to me in New Mexico 5 years ago. It is only an occasional Sunday driver, so the added mileage, since its arrival in New Mexico, is very low.
This Jensen Interceptor Mk III is powered by a 330 hp. 440 Chrysler V8 with 3 speed automatic transmission. The car has a new AC compressor, power windows, and power steering. It also has 4 barrel carb, dual exhaust, four wheel disc brakes and factory 15-inch alloy wheels. It sports an aftermarket $2,500.00 Nardi steering wheel.
All mechanicals were rebuilt during previous owner’s restoration. The radio and power antenna have never been hooked up.
This car has a rebuilt suspension as well as brakes, bearings etc. that can be seen in the photos. These cars have a tendency to sag in the rear because of weak springs. I had these springs re-arched, so it has the proper stance.
The speedometer operation is steady, as well as the tachometer. All gauges work properly. I have only driven the car approximately 900 miles. The total actual miles are unknown.
As the pictures will show, the paint is perfect as well as the interior, aside from a dash crack, which can be seen in the pictures. The exterior paint is a striking bronze color, accented by a beautiful cognac/brown color stitched leather interior.
The car runs and drives excellent and is a real attention grabber, both on the road and at car shows.
It is a pristine car that can be driven anywhere in comfort and style.
Please don't hesitate to call, or text if you have questions. 575-973-6040
