I heard from the old workshop that not all oil filters are created equal.  Over the years we've used taller, shorter, white ones, blue ones, orange ones, black ones and some even got painted to go with the engine bay color motif!  But this one is the favorite flavor for now for more than just color. All black, just like the factory did to our engine bays, ALL BLACK, how nice, easier to paint and smear with undercoating!
