Steering Rack Reseal includes resealing the Rack and Valve Assy.  We will send you a rack that has been taken completely apart, tanked, had all seals replaced, bench tested, and repainted.  You or your mechanic then has it on hand to swap with your faulty unit.  Lovely!

We now only do this on an exchange basis.  When you need a rebuilt rack, order this part and order the "core charge" Part Number: F6/01/Core.  This $750 charge will be fully refunded upon return of your old rack in rebuildable condition.  Please note, we will need to deduct from your refund for missing parts or for parts that are beyond repair (sorry about that, but these racks are getting scarce).

So, you need to order both F6/01 and F6/01/CORE.  A rebuilt rack will be shipped quickly and the $750 for the core will be refunded when you send us your old rack.

At this time, you may also wish to consider new tie rod ends and new power steering hoses.  Note that old hoses may be deteriorating from the inside sending crap thru your system leading to premature failure of the rack seals...
