These little rubber grommets really get around!  We use 2 of these on either side of the lever & shaft clamp block of the accelerator pedal rod instead of the original bearings.  If I don't make sense check out page K3 item 14 of your Mk3 parts manual.  We also use this little grommet for the bonnet prop rod.  You know when you open your bonnet and you slide your prop rod into the hole in the bracket attached to your bonnet and you see no rubber grommet?  Well, there should be a rubber grommet in that hole and now you can buy one for the prop rod and two for the accelerator rod!  Your Jensen thanks you!
