Do you have the wrong temperature sender? Gauge not registering? Gauge Maxed out?  99% of the time it is NOT the gauge but an improper sender.  Your engine is American Chrysler and your gauge is British Jaeger.  The sender needs to interpret American sending of temperature to British reading on the gauge. If your engine has a Chrysler sending unit on it your gauge will not read correctly.
